World Rookie Tour first time in Greece / Kalavrita + Snowboard.gr freestyle open

World Rookie Tour snowboard contest for the first time in Greece! 13 – 15 February 2015 at Helmos – Kalavrita snow resort. If you dream to become a professional snowboarder, then your future starts from Rookie Fest!

WSF World Rookie Fest is the most famous youth snowboard freestyle contest from all over the world that, for the past 10 years, has been offering the perfect opportunity to see in action the stars of tomorrow . More than 20 national teams come from all over, strict collaborations with the Artic Challenge, Air&Style, Pirate Movie Production, TTR World Snowboard Tour, Onboard Europe are just some of the features that make this event unique and able to win the prestigious title of ‘Best Snowboard Event 2014’ during the Italian Snowboard Awards presented at Modena Skipass: the event that nobody under 18 can miss.

Transfer from Athens to Kalavrita via ski bus, departure Friday 13/2

Transfer from Kalavrita village to ski resort and return on Saturday 14/2

Judging: It is up to official judges and snowboard experts.

2015 World Rookie Tour Rules

The title of World Rookie Champions 2015 will be awarded to the winner of the Volkl World

Rookie Finals 2015 in Ischgl, Austria. This event is reserved to the following riders:
All riders that finished on the podium (top 3) from a previous Rookie Fest, both male and female, Rookie and Grom age groups
Selected riders from NSAs: each nation has a national quota of five (5) riders (2 male rookies, 1 female Rookie, 1 male and 1 female Grom).
The top 20 riders from the World Rookie Rank at the end of March + the top 10 riders from the Grom Rank
The riders applications have to be submitted by the official WSF member nation only

SNOWBOARD.GR FREESTYLE OPEN

On Saturday 14/2 SFO slopestyle contest for adults will take place at the snowpark with great prizes for the winners and all competitors! Snowpark will be open for night snowboarding session and freeski show until 20:00 (weather permiting) plus a party with famous djs!
